Samsung UN60H7150 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Smart LED TV Review

I was looking at getting a new TV for my living room as the existing 40" sony was 7 years old and I also wanted something bigger than that. So I went ahead after some research with the 75" and ordered it through Amazon.
I was expecting that the enhanced delivery would involve fixing the TV stand but they just pull the TV outside the package and switch it on to show that there is nothing wrong or damaged. I did opt to keep the packaging just in case if I had to return this.

Since this was a big screen both my wife and I took some time to figure out to how to fix the stand. After getting the stand and putting it up on the TV stand it really looked amazingly HUGE!!! After quickly finishing up the smart tv setup (I connected wirelessly) I connected it to an existing blu-ray player and played Avatar. With the default setting, it was good but I could see some clouding around the edges during total dark screens. After some more tweaking, I tried the calibration info provided (Just google for calibrate H7150 - It is the first site lcdtvbuyingguide)

It made a big difference but I again went ahead tweaking and finally calibrated it slightly differently for various sources (cable TV, Blu-ray, PC connection and smart TV). Once I reduced the backlight to somewhere around 11 or 12 all the clouding was gone and it was pitch black!
I found the Standard picture setting to be better (Energy savings) and having it as Warm2 (closer to 5600K).
Reduced the backlight and maximized the contrast (95 or 100). Turned off the rest of options including Auto motion except for cable TV and Blu-ray where I kept it to custom setting with a 3 point for Judder. If you choose any of the Standard, Smooth etc then you will end up with a Big Soap opera effect.

After the above tweaks, the picture is simply awesome and so clear and immersive! No issues with smart TV usage (including editing favorites etc). The only issue is sometimes when you browse using the built-in browser sites that contain embedded videos, the user experience becomes very slow and sometimes a lot of buffering.

With respect to the sound, for a 1/2" LCD thickness the sound isn't too bad. I have an existing onkyo home theatre that I hooked up and it is awesome!
I set the sound to be standard and switched on the DTS dialog for voice clarity and also set the equalizer in a < shape. With this setting, the TV volume is acceptable for general viewing.

So here are the best things I see with this TV:
A) The ultra-clear panel really does a great job (But you do see reflections of lights or windows in the screen)

B) The 1080 HD is very good and local cable channels are coming up with awesome clarity.

C) The smart TV - Netflix setup created an issue initially but after restarting the TV it got resolved (as mentioned in their website for trouble shooting). Infact I had Orange is the new black stream at "1080 Super HD" bitrate (I have FiOS). Youtube app is simply awesome! It actually streams in 1080 and my wife couldn't believe it was actually streaming from youtube.
Vudu again had no issues as I had a few HDX movies that I streamed and everything was looking great!

D) The black level (if calibrated correctly) is comparable with a plasma. Pitch dark black!

E) Youtube pairing - I can search videos on my iPad and just stream it to the TV. Works very nicely.

Iam not a big fan of 3D but I did try a few trailers and was able to see the depth. Even the 2D to 3D conversion looked pretty decent. But as Iam not interested in 3D, so I just watch it in 2D always.

So if you can, go for the bigger screen. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Samsung UN48H6350 48-Inch 1080p 120Hz Smart LED TV Review

I love it! The delivery company delivered and set my 55H6350 this morning. What an amazing picture. I couldnt be more happy with the picture quality. I have read reviews about people who diss this tv because of the Slow Apps or Poor Sounds. In my experience so far, the apps and web browser ARE slow but I have this TV connected to an Asus Chromebox and use that for web browsing and all apps. So the smart features wont be used by me. The built-in speakers sound okay to me. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible, just average. However, I am using the Optical Out from the TV to my A/V Receiver and all is well.

I found the following calibration online and seem to really enhance the picture to provide true colors.

Picture Mode Movie
Backlight 15 <---- increase if in a bright room
Contrast 95
Brightness 46
Sharpness 14
Color 50
Tint G50/R50
Advance Settings
Dynamic Contrast Off
Black Tone Off
Flesh Tone 0
RGB Only Mode Off
Color Space Auto
10pt White Balance On
Gamma +1
Expert Pattern Off
xvYCC Off
Picture Options
Color Tone Warm2
Digital Noise Filter Off
MPEG Noise Filter Off
HDMI Black Level Normal (Low if available)
Film Mode Off
Auto Motion Plus Off

10pt White Balance ON

Picture Size Screen Fit

So after 4 hours, I would recommend this tv to Anyone. I'll report back if I have problems in the future but so far ZERO buyers remorse.

UPDATE: 30 days in and I could not be more happy with my purchase. I did a ton of comparison (probably too much) shopping before buying this tv. Boy did I make the right decision. This TV is SWEET! again, i dont use the smart features so no comment on them.

Samsung UN50H5203 50-Inch 1080p 60Hz Smart LED TV Review

Samsung makes great TV's that surpass every other manufacturer in their class. I have two Samsung's in my house and I can tell you the image is beautiful. This TV has an LED screen and in my opinion this the way to go (LED is similar to LCD its back-lit better so that they are no dark spots on the screen).

Now add in that this TV can directly connect to the internet and I'm sold. TV's of this class have never been cheaper.

One thing that I have found with TV's that its very important to actually look at the TV in person. Now when you look at the TV's, go to a place like Walmart to see them, because many times specialty stores like Best Buy play with the lighting controls on the TV and in the store to skew the image to there advantage. Once you look at the TV simply look and decide which one looks better to you.

The next step to take into consideration is features. Here are a few that come with this TV:

This Samsung comes with Auto Volume which automatically adjusts the volume of the desired channel, lowering the sound output when the modulation signal is high or raising the sound output when the modulation signal is low. This reduces the difference in volume when changing channels. The Auto Volume feature can be set to Normal, Night or Off.

As far as outputs most of these TV's will come with more than enough Inputs and Outputs. This TV comes with 4 HDMI Audio/Video In, 1 Ethernet LAN In/Out, 1 RCA Component Audio/Video In amd 1 Digital Coaxial Audio Out.

Next thing when shopping for a TV is in box technology. Here are some of the features of this TV:

With this Smart HDTV there is a full web browser with WiFi built-in apps made for TV. Some of the apps this TV features is Hulu Plus, YouTube, Netflix, Facebook, and Twitter. Browse the web while you watch movies and TV shows, and enjoy TV while you chat with friends and family online, all on one screen with this Samsung.

Thank you for reading my review, if you have any questions feel free to email me, I would be happy to help you with any questions you have.

Samsung UN28H4500 28-Inch 720p 60Hz Smart LED TV Review

It's light, has good sound, a great picture, and is easy to get out of the box and plugged in. I bought it to use without connection, completely WiFi, and it's good for the purchased services. However, the use of the "smart hub" is not as simple as one might think, and using the browser is difficult because of the on screen typing mode. I've gone back to Samsung to get more information on the apps, as it only shows about 40 on the screen, but the Samsung website says they have over 1000. And herein lies a problem with the TV, not being able to simply search for an app, but having to go through all of the different apps to find the one you want. Of course, for a cheap TV, that you want to use wirelessly, this is a pretty good bet.

Follow-up, after emails, chats, and phone calls with Samsung and Verizon. Samsung advertises that their TVs have a Verizon FiOS app. Even Verizon talks about how great the FiOS app is. One of the reasons I bought the Samsung is the FiOS app. Now I find that the 28in Samsung "smart" TVs do not support the FiOS app. One technician says it's because the TV is too new, another says it's because the TV doesn't have enough RAM, Verizon says, "talk to Samsung." If you've thought that you'd be able to use this without a cable box, to watch occasional information you've already paid for through your FiOS subscription, beware! I'm more than disappointed in Samsung for not making this clear, and I'll be looking at Visio and LG as soon as I finish this review.

Samsung UN40H6350 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz Smart LED TV Review

When this TV arrived (and it's so freakin' big I had to go buy a new table for it), I was at first mystified by how strange the picture quality is. The resolution and contrast are even better than I expected, but the first Blu-Ray disk I put in was "Fellowship of the Ring", and for some reason, it looked more like the hideous high frame rate video of "The Hobbit", not the 24 frame per second film look of the LOTR movies. And indeed, at the top of the screen, the frame rate was shown as 60p, which is to me a bit unusual, given the 24fps source material. Unlike the Sony Bravia I'm replacing, there's no way to control the frame rate directly, and among the reviews here on Amazon, I couldn't find any way to get rid of this artificial motion blur-less look that I find so very wrong.

Finally on the Samsung site I found there's a setting called Auto Motion Plus on one of the sub-menus. The TV actually tries to create "in-between frames", to achieve an actual (though crappy) 60 frames per second picture. The default setting is Auto. Since I don't see it mentioned here, it horrifies me to think that probably everyone who owns this TV is operating it with Auto Motion Plus, because it really is the Death of Cinema. But I beg you, unless you only watch sports, heed my words and run, don't walk, to this menu setting.

LG Electronics 39LB5600 39-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED TV Review

By Mr Samuel G Chow

First off this is the 2014 version of the beloved 32LN5300 (that I also have). Out of the box you will notice a much thinner bezel all around, and a sleek stand. I am using this side by side with the 2013 model (32LN5200) and it look is a much cleaner look than it's older brother.

Important notes - You have to set the ATI scaling to 0 on the PC (at least for my system) and on the tv you have to set the input to PC! That last part was night and day, I had forgotten about this small fact and was tinkering with the EDID - Refresh (You name it) until I randomly compared the monitors side by side. Granted it was close but after labeling my input, text were nice and sharp.

If you're looking for a larger monitor then I definitely would recommend this.

Use - I am using this as a PC monitor and moderate to light gaming

Hooking it up:

Pretty standard - hdmi - to pc (I have a ATI 7870 which supports 6 monitors through Mini display port).

VIZIO E500i-B1 50-Inch 1080p Smart LED HDTV Review

By Armand Gerardi

I just lost my Samsung 46 inch top of the line when after only 3 years the picture developed a bad screen. Broke my heart but I realized even Samsung gets bad parts now and then. I take super care of my electronics as I kept this LCD in new condition right up to its death. Three years? I told the Samsung rep on the phone. He just said it was out of warranty, so long story short I decided against another Samsung. I did a solid week of reading reviews and numerous visits to my local stores watching and adjusting several brands before deciding on a 55 inch LG or Vizio as my choices. I hated the new LG's magic remote( works like a mouse on the screen) but I also heard that the Vizio had lame apps on their smart E & the better M series. Just last week I walked into my local "S" club and a guy was setting up the new 2014 E series B-2. He told me they were the first to get them. The vizio rep happened to be there and he pointed out that they re-vamped all the smart apps and told me of the new back-lit 12 panel led zone, which even the 2013 high tech "M" series didn't have. After fiddling with the contrast and temp colors I was able to get a fantastic picture.Bought it, brought it home and set it up.Wow! I was pretty impressed to find a $700 TV that can go up against a $1500 TV. . Vizio also now has a smaller front frame edge measureing 10mm. only 2 mm less than last year but it makes for an almost invisable frame. Another bonus...Vizio ups the speaker wattage from 10 to 15 watts. Not mindblowing but way improved from the muffled speaker sound that is associated with most down pointed speakers that seems to be standard with most HGTV's. Bottom line I love it. Its good to see a company like Vizio upping their game with internal improvements instead of a cosmetic makeover like a lot of other companies.

By TACHRIS

Had this for a week. Great blacks and detail. After a couple hours of picture tuning I have an excellent TV for Blu-rays and games. Not using apps much other than Netflix via PS3. Again Picture and 120HZ motion is great for everything especially for around $700.

TURN OFF Active LED control. Makes movie faces look like wax and smoothed over. It also reduced color which I found unnecessary.
You're better off turning off all "advanced picture settings" which makes the picture look too processed and noisy.

UPDATE: This will give you an amazing HD picture. Took me 3 months to get it down. Enjoy!

Start with "Normal" pic mode
Color Temperature: Custom
Backlight 45 to 50
Brightness 40
Contrast 78
Color 54
Tint -1
Sharpness 30

Keep film mode to Auto.

If you're a gamer switch to Game mode with these pic settings and you're good to go!

Over time the picture/LEDs are settling in very nice.

Popular Anniversary Party Games And Printable Activities

Anniversary party games and printable activities such as Desert Island and Charades will make an Anniversary Party very special.

Regardless of which anniversary a couple is honoring, most people will enjoy celebrating an occasion with family and friends. Therefore, the games and printable activities used at this party should depend on the number of guests that are invited. More often than not, most Anniversary parties are quite small, but others such as 25th, 30th and 50th are much larger. Making an Anniversary Party unique can happen with games and printable activities designed or prepared especially for the party. Desert Island is a game that can be played with two or more couples. The scenario for the game is that each couple is given a large sheet of bulletin board paper and must pretend they are on a desert island surrounded by water; the only way they can survive is to stand in the middle of the white paper without stumbling into the water.

When everyone has stood on the paper the hostess will then tell them to step off, fold the paper in half and then stand on the island again. Once this has been done they fold the paper again and repeat this step, until only one couple is standing on their island. Most often Anniversary party guests will enjoy playing an assortment of games or printable activities that are interactive.. For this reason, games such as Memory Tray, Charades and various types of trivia games are very popular. Additionally, printable activities are also ideal for this party. From Anniversary Party Word Search to Anniversary Party Create a Word, having printable activities at an Anniversary Party will make the party a lot of fun. These simple games are perfect for almost any type of party and will keep the guests involved in the action. Other printable activities like Anniversary Party Find a Word, Anniversary Party Mazes and similar games are also very popular. For this reason, playing many different types of Anniversary party games and printable activities at a party will have everyone at the party having a great time.

Anniversary Party Games and Printable Activities such as these and others are designed to involve everyone at the party in a fun and involving experience. For this reason, more often than not the games and printable activities chosen should be quite interactive and very enjoyable. Therefore most hosts should try to avoid games that are intense and personal at this type of party giving the guests the opportunity to be involved in an atmosphere that is light and fun.

Film Review of Secret Diary of a Call Girl

Film review of Secret Diary of a Call Girl

This is a film which involve sex industry. Sometimes I think I would rather to catch a triply to watch than to sleep with a dull man, Because each set is very short, it probably still can give you the climax, even it is a neuter version. I still remembered that I really didt think Belle is a beautiful woman when I watched season one. But I have been able to appreciate her beauty to season four. I like to watch her to receive each customer in high spirit. She let me become more believe that there is some people really like to be a prostitute as career. From her, I felt a little shamed, I just in labor, I didn't work hard.but she doest.

Ben and Han is alike, both are brave,Both have the courage to make a choice, choose what they want, rather than they should. From the start, Ben appeared in Hans world, his state cannot be removed. From season one Ben delayed he and Vanessa s wedding ceremony, at that moment, I knew he was really love Han.real love. But they finally broke up. Ben wants a family, but Hannah cannot give. just because she know she cannot give, she choose to leave. Hannah just wants to be herself. They separate, not because they dont love each other, they are too love.they love, but cannot give each other they want. So they say goodbye. Losing Ben, it means, Hannah and bell lose everything, but she finally decide so. love, like on you.

In fact, I know they will not be together at last, but I still hoping. Finally I having no choice but to Give up the lens. Sometimes. Two people who love each other deeply always can not be together. That's it. If it's you. Would you do as Hannah. Choose to leave because love too much. When you can't give your lover what he needs. When you can't let him be happiness. choose to leave is more great than to possess him.
